THE PACTS AND THE OATHS

Convictions give direction.
Values inspire behaviour.
Principles illuminate decisions.

But on their own, they are not enough. Every lasting human adventure calls for commitment. OSE is built on this conviction.

The foundations of the programme only take on their full meaning when they become commitments freely made and genuinely lived.

This is why OSE has chosen to give pacts and oaths a special place.

OSE
A COMMUNITY OF COMMITMENT
Each person takes their share of responsibility to bring our values to life and carry our project forward together.
PROMOTION PACT
Unites ambassadors from the same cohort. Supporting one another, respecting each other, and carrying the spirit of OSE together.
AMBASSADOR'S OATH
The young person's commitment to living their experience to the full and worthily representing the values they have chosen to serve.
ADVENTURE PACT
Unites the young person, their family, their host family, the clubs and those responsible. A shared commitment to the success of the experience.
MENTORS' OATH
A willingness to accompany young people, not as perfect role models, but as committed witnesses on their own path of growth.
FOUNDER'S OATH
No one is exempt from the standards they set for others. A commitment to exemplarity and to staying true to the project's purpose.

THE PACTS

A shared commitment. A collective responsibility.

Pacts remind us that the adventure is never an individual one. It is always collective. Everyone progresses thanks to others and alongside them. They create a community of trust and shared responsibility.

THE OATHS

A personal commitment. A responsibility freely accepted.

Oaths express a freely chosen commitment to oneself, to others, and to a cause recognised as greater than oneself. They invite everyone to take their share of responsibility in the shared adventure.

ONE SHARED PROMISE

The most beautiful human adventures are born when people freely choose to commit themselves and to carry forward, together, a project greater than themselves.

Pacts and oaths are the concrete expression of these convictions, values and principles. They allow everyone to know what they can expect from others and what is expected of them. This is why OSE gives them an essential place in its institutional life.

LIVING COMMITMENTS
Pacts and oaths are neither administrative formalities nor imposed obligations. They are free acts.
Their value lies not in their signature, but in how they are lived out day by day.
They remind us that trust is built, that responsibilities are shared, and that values take on their true meaning when they become actions.

Convictions that become commitments. Commitments that become actions. Actions that change the world.
