Funding an OSE Adventure

Each person plays their part. Solidarity makes the adventure possible.

1

An adventure.
A shared responsibility.

The sending family

usually covers the costs linked to their child's departure:

Preparation
Insurance
Travel
Personal expenses linked to departure
The OSE
Exchange

Reciprocity

Each person plays their part.
No one bears it all.

The receiving club

usually covers the costs linked to hosting the Ambassador:

Schooling / Catering
Local life
Sporting activities
Hosting-related costs
2

The sponsoring club:
a reciprocal responsibility.

The Sponsoring Club
The Ambassador
places its trust
provides support
entrusts a mission
represents their club
observes and explores
shares their experience on return

The Ambassador does not set off solely thanks to their club.

They also set off for their club.

3

What if cost becomes an obstacle?

The family

faces a financial difficulty.

The sponsoring club

because it knows the young person and their family, it helps them find a solution.

A financial difficulty should never, on its own, prevent departure.

4

Solutions to seek together, then OSE Country if necessary.

Three forms of solidarity to draw on as closely as possible
1 Economic Partner

Economic Partner

A club sponsor can become an OSE Ambassador's Partner.

2

Sponsorship / Solidarity

Companies, foundations, donors: their support makes departure possible.

3

Local Partner

Rotary clubs, associations, institutions, local networks: they provide support, guidance and connections.

Local Solution

If sufficient, departure becomes possible.

If it is not enough,

OSE Country

can supplement the solidarity mobilised.

THE FAMILY PARTICIPATES.   THE CLUB SUPPORTS.   SOLIDARITY COMPLETES.

5

Receiving more, contributing more.

Every OSE Ambassador

represents their club, carries out their mission and shares their experience.

An Ambassador who has received additional solidarity

takes on an additional personal commitment:

giving time
serving a cause
helping another ambassador
contributing to their club or community

Additional support does not create a debt.

It calls for an additional contribution.

Responsibility  –  Reciprocity  –  Solidarity

3 = 1

Making the adventure possible
