SHEET 1

THE FIRST PIONEERS

Creating an OSE Country: where to begin?
“

The principles are universal. Each people gives them a face.

”

Why this sheet?

As in all sporting disciplines, the rules are the same for everyone. What changes from one country to another is the way they are embodied.

The same is true for OSE.

OSE's founding principles are universal. However, each country brings them to life according to its own culture, history, institutions and outlook.

This is why an OSE Country cannot be a copy of another. It must become the expression of a shared vision, embodied by the women and men of that country.

The creation of an OSE Country therefore begins very simply. A person discovers OSE and wishes to develop it in their country. They register their interest on the OSE website, and then speak about it to those around them.

Gradually, other people who share this same ambition come forward in turn. Once a first core group has taken shape, they jointly make contact with OSE.

From that moment on, they become the first pioneers of their OSE Country. Their mission is not to reproduce a model. It is to build, together with OSE, an organisation faithful to its founding principles and deeply rooted in the realities of their country.

This is how every new OSE adventure begins.

“ A shared future always begins with women and men who believe in the same idea. ”

What to remember

OSE's principles are universal.
Each country embodies them according to its own culture.
An OSE Country is never born of a single person, but of a community of pioneers.
OSE supports this community from its very first steps.
